Kodiak Island Housing Authority (KIHA) owns and manages 177 rental units and offers several rental programs to meet your housing needs.   Certain programs give preference to Native American (American Indian and Alaska Native) applicants.   Harborview and Cliffwood Apartments are not subject to the Native American preference.   

The following housing programs are funded by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) under the Native American Housing Assistance and Self-Determination Act of 1996 (NAHASDA).   Preference is given to Native American applicants.   Income must be 80% or less of Median Family Income.

KIHA owns two rental complexes in Kodiak, Harborview and Cliffwood, which do not receive HUD funding and are not subject to the Native American preference or income limits.

Voucher, Rental Assistance Program (RAP) and Student Rental Assistance are accepted.
